There, UL marking is necessary to guarantee that a panel can be safely applied and is allowed by local inspections. For Dutch machine builders and OEMs exporting their systems worldwide, this means that a control panel must not only be CE marked, but must also meet the requirements of UL 508A. Without this certificate, one runs the risk that the installation will be rejected upon arrival in the U.S. or Canada.     <\/p><p class=\"PlaygroundEditorTheme__paragraph\" dir=\"ltr\">A UL 508A panel is distinguished by specific requirements for wiring, component selection and documentation. In addition, the SCCR (Short Circuit Current Rating) must be determined. This rating determines up to what short-circuit power a cabinet can safely operate.
